External Marketing Action Plan (E-MAP)

In-Office Consult

Goal

To increase new patient, increase brand awareness, and/or to enhance a particular aspect of the practice.

To create an independent, external marketing action plan ready for implementation by the practice. The plan can be used in conjunction with Jameson services or independently. The plan will be created to give the client (practice) something that is coherent, integrated, and reflective of practice goals.

Pre-Arrival

  • Garner information regarding current and past marketing/advertising efforts
  • Jameson interviews the Top 10 Patients (5 patients/doctor in multi-doctor practices)
  • Doctor and team complete questionnaire
  • Demographic, Competitive, and Psychoanalysis Report on the area is performed
  • E-MAP is generated based on gather information and resources

In-Office Consultation

  • Analyze in-office interactions
  • Review the in-office literature, take in-office photos, etc.
  • Meet with the doctor(s) to discuss the proposed E-MAP
  • Go over the proposed positioning statements
  • Make adjustments to the E-MAP based on doctor feedback
  • Coaching with the entire team on marketing, what their role it, what to expect, how to handle calls, what will be occurring, etc. Coaching ensure consistency and seamless implementation.

Agenda

  • Office is up and running as normal for the first 4 hours of the day
  • A Creative Services representative and the doctor(s) have a meeting over lunch for 2 hours (lunch should be brought in for them, while the rest of the team may do as they choose during this lunch time)
  • Complete Team meeting/coaching for the last 2-3 hours of the following day
  • The following day after the team coaching, meet with the doctor to go over the EMAP findings and determine a course of action.
